week 4 weigh in

This past week Wednesday-Saturday I had to drive down to California and visit my Aunt. Well, on the way down we knew we had food goal.. and not good food goals im taking In-and-Out and Del Taco. We dont have them in Oregon so we had to get our fill... I had 3 fish tacos from Del Taco! not good I think they were like 6-8 points each maybe more. That was on the way down.. We even tried to be good by eating beef jerky and nutragrain bars etc. For dinner once we stopped on the way down we had Denny's and I had Biscuits and Gravy it was small and I was proud of myself for not eating the whole thing!!.. Fish tacos were breakfast the next day/ Lunch...  i ate 3!! they are soooooo good.. i had 2 together and then later i ate one. then we had Starbucks I had  an iced venti soy sugarfree carmel latte I dont know how many points that was but it was good.. then we had more beef jerky and In-and-Out I had a cheese burger and fries... and for dinner we had Panda Express I only ate about half of it.. and ate 1/2 of the left overs for breakfast the next day. and on the way home we had Togo's I had a LARGE pastrami on Parmesan bread i think it was 29 points! i only ate half for lunch and the other half later down the road with some starbucks (soy pumkinspice) and maybe some more beef jerky... So needless to day I was a very bad girl! bad bad..

BUT.... my total weight loss for the week is..... -1.6 pounds!!! So I lost weight! Total weight loss of 6.4lbs 203.0 my lowest was my first week at 202.6 So hopefully this week I can get past that point! Im so excited and proud of myself for not only not gaining, but losing 1.6lbs!!!

Just ramblings

So I need to head down to California today to visit my aunt and pick up furniture for my house YAY!

So today I skipped breakfast. I just rolled out of bed and headed to school. I ate a banana and had some chia tea with nonfat milk, only a little bit so 0points for breakfast!

Lunch Im eating a bunch of little things: wheat thins with Laughing cow cheese(4+2), String Cheese (2) Chocolate milk(5), chex mix (3) and Beef Jerky(4)

So i feel like im stuffing my face right now! that puts me at 20 points for the day and then Im left with 12 for the trip down

So far im thinking soup for 8 points and then some 4 point snack

EAT EAT EAT

I just wanted to post a blog of the foods that I've been eating. So here it goes...
Breakfast: one egg with 1/2 of a red potato and 1 piece of Jimmy Dean Sausage patty topped with shredded cheese- 7points

Today I had half a grilled cheese just one slice of white bread with one slice of fat free American cheese just 3 points. I didn't use butter i just toasted it in a non-stick pan yum! and I had Progresso Light Clam Chowder for 2 points. pretty good small lunch

went to work and had wheat thins 4points and 2 Laughing Cow light garlic and Herb wedges for 1 point! Yes 2 for 1point!

Then I had a banana and beef Jerky on my break! for 4points! yum

Dinner: we had salad with tomato and black olives with an Italian dressing and croutons! 3 points!
and then I had a chicken thigh with whole wheat pasta and parmasean 8 points roughly maybe 9 for the cheese

totaly=32-33 points.. not to bad.. except that i cheated again! I snuck a cheddar hot dog and I had a sample of pumpkin spice latte at work... I really need to work on that! This is why not only do I not lose weight, but I GAIN!!

Monday week3

Today is kind of depressing. I had a breakfast burrito and had to bring with me to school the rest of my days food. I packed a bunch of little things like soup, nutragrain bar etc. Only to find out... After I plugged it in I had to many points so now I can't eat either the nutragrain bar or my 100 cal chez mix... So I guess building my days worth of food is getting better. I mean that I'm starting to learn just how much or little I can eat in a day.. That is what is depressing. Food shouldn't depress me but for some reason it is. I can already tell that I want more to eat. I want to munch on everything :( I feel deprived already and I'm hoping with time that will go away. I guess this is why I'm overweight and I need to address the issue on why I'm feeling deprived of food. Am I feeling deprived of something else manifesting as hunger? I don't know...

Also I lost a pound since yesterday so not to bad feels like I'm already back into the swing of things

Week2 hiccups pt. 2

Sooo bad! Very bad! I had the left over applebees for lunch.. My bf got sushi and teraki chicken, I ate half. I had an ice cream AND a cup cake!! It was a really emotional day and I fix that with food I need to practice other ways of dealing with stress.. I just hope I have a loss at all and it's only week 2 I shouldn't be running into this problem!

Week 2 hicups

On Tuesday at work, I ate 2 donut holes!! AHH they are small right? about a point each maybe? lol

So... last night I got in a fight with my bf and I had to leave the house to get away.. it was late at night, well around 8 so I had already ate all my points for the day and then some because dinner was more points than i expected, but I wanted those red skin potatoes! They were great! Anyways, I  went to Starbucks and got a Tall, Nonfat, no whip, sugar-free Cinnamon Dulce steamer so really it was only like 3 points I think. It was amazing! Made me feel sooooo much better. I don't like warm milk, but pampering myself with Starbucks was just what I needed.

Okay, so about these Red skin Potatoes... The reason I'm so thrilled about them is because they were EASY and Delicious! Cooking for 2,
I grabbed 4 medium sized red skin potatoes and first cut them in half and then the halves into 3rds diagonally. I wanted smaller pieces cuz I like when they get crispy.
So I threw them.. well about 3/4 fit into a zipplock sandwich bag and added a dash of olive oil, shook it around,
added Italian seasoning AND Chili powder! They were not hot or spicy either just full of flavor!
I coated the pan with Pam and just tossed them on and in the oven at 400.
I only cooked them about 15min, and they probably should have gone for longer but I was hungry and already picked up pre-cooked chicken from the grocery store.

Breakfast today was dank! I made a breakfast burrito! I was sure it would fall apart or I would end up having to eat it with a fork or something but it was perfect! I heated up 2 sausage patties that came pre-cooked and microwaved for a minute.. toasted a tortilla over low heat while I scrambled my eggs.. flipped the tortilla over a few times so it was warm and added a slice of Fat Free American Cheese added the egg, added the sausage i teared in to smaller pieces, it was hot so it was kind of hard, added Fat free shredded cheese on top, folded the tortilla very carefully cuz it was hot! flipped it over so the folds were down and turned up the heat until it was crisp, then flipped it again until it was crisp and it came out perfect!! I had a little Fat Free sour cream/salsa mix that was 0 points! This whole burrito was 10points, but I couldn't even eat it all! only about 3/4 so I'm leaving it on my Point Tracker because I might eat the small part later for a snack!

Week 2 - Weigh-In

Today is my weigh-in day which I've been looking forward too all week! As I've said before, part of my loss is due to not being on my period anymore. Having that said, I lost 6.8lbs!!! That's almost 1lb per day which is ridiculous! I mean I'm happy, but also a little freaked out. How much weight am I going to lose on a regular week? I guess we'll have to wait and see! I don't feel much smaller. Before I started weight watcher my weight fluctuated between 200-210.. so being on the low end of that is AWESOME!

Day 7

One week down! And guess what!? I've gone from 209.4 on Sunday (also my TOM) down to 203.6 on Saturday (TOM is done).. So even though there is a difference from just being on my period, I still think I lost more. YAY Go me.. the only downside is that I really REALLY want to log this on my Weight Tracker, but WW wont let me until tomorrow.. I guess to keep people from weighing themselves everyday. I just wanted to share because I've just about lost 6lbs in a week.. on a Period week! LOL

Day 4

I just wanted to post that I am feeling much better after the first few days. I'm starting to get used to this eating less concept. Knowing that I'm eating less I'm learning to spread out my snacks and meals so that I stay full throughout the day. I've started eating bananas for snacks since they are 0 points!! My goal is to find more 0 point foods so that i can add more substance to my day to day intake. I like apples but I hate when the skin gets between my teeth and cuts my gum! I HATE THAT! I want to try Pares next but I don't know how to tell a good one from a bad one... If only Grapefruit were cheaper I would buy some for breakfast cuz I love grapefruit with splenda in the morning.. like 1/2 of a grapefruit and maybe some oatmeal? idk we'll see.. Im still having trouble with breakfast.

Today I brought breakfast with me to school I brought blue diamond smoked almonds and a fruit leather thing so i think it totaled like 7points for breakfast. I pretty much brought my whole days worth of food with me to school today since I'm going to be here from 10am -7pm! YUCK! So I had breakfast in my first class at 10, right now (12pm) Im drinking a Starbucks VIA coffee with a dash of soy milk. Which I'm not even counting because there are no calories in the VIA and the amount of soy i added probably wouldn't count.. in a 16oz cup (even though the via is for 8oz) There was only less than an inch of room for cream.. Can I just say that my coffee is more brown than it is white or creamy probably because of the fact that I put soy in it instead of half and half which is was I was going to use. But the soy adds a nutty flavor that makes it feel oh so decadent!

I'm going to make a cheat sheet for Starbucks, because I still have money on my gold card and I still have a few freebie drinks that I need to use before they expire. I'll post it later after I'm done! :D

Also, just wanted to note that I am doing videos almost every morning but I have yet to post them on youtube. I think what i will do is after the week is over just combine them in to a short clip of my first week on WW and then at the end have my first weigh-in since I've started WW! I'm excited!

I just wanted to add that I had a slice of pizza today and maybe Ill talk about it in a video but i just counted one slice as 6 points.. just a guess

Day 2

Just to recap day 1: I feel like I didn't eat very much, and I cheated a bit on the first day.... Left over Applebees boneless buffalo wings were in the fridge calling my name! YUM I only ate 3.. Also I had some grape juice that I didn't log away in my points plus.. Im a bad girl :/ lol

Today hasn't been so bad. I'm not used to eating breakfast so I had to force it down.. or what I could. I'm at school all day long from 10am-5 and then back 8-12am yuck! I brought with me a Horrizon Chocolate Milk container. They don't need to be refrigerated and they are low fat, but each one is 4 pts!! For a small chocolate milk! LAME. Oh and I've been having trouble with the Weight Watchers app on my iPhone for some reason it says its lost network connection and to try again. Well I even logged in to the wifi here at school on my phone and it still said the same thing! So im kinda mad that I bought the WW Online and can't even use the app on my phone.. the best part uhg.

I feel kinda poopy today. I started my TOM which makes me a little more cranky and depriving myself of my comfort food this week is really hard. I just want some hot chocolate and ice cream and make my tummy feel better. I'm thinking about going to the store and getting some progresso French Onion soup and boiling it down so its really condensed and then throwing a few croutons in it and melting some provolone cheese on top YUMMM that's really what sounds good, but I don't think I have enough points! I brought a sandwich (10pts), milk (4Pts), Rice cakes(2pts), and chicken salad and crackers which I think is 4 pts.. I can't remember. I would log in to WW Online but ITS NOT WORKING right now.. which could be the reason I couldn't get in on my phone.. makes sense. So after all of that I'll have 10pts for dinner and 2pts for my desert! YUM I really REALLY want another meal to eat.. I guess I'm so used to eating 4 and 5 meals a day that going down to 3 with small snacks really sucks.

Day 1

Alright.. So my first day on Weight Watchers its going okay... I get 32 points a day. I put my whole day in my points tracker. I don't now why I'm surprised, but I am. I'm surprised at how little food I get to eat! Really I am.. I just had a sandwich and it was 10pts. So it was about a 1/3 of my daily point allowance. Which I guess makes sense.. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner... I guess that's all you're supposed to eat in a day.. and then a small snack. But I feel so deprived.
